Biggest hugs to you!

Hey, mama. I am so excited for you to be here and to be considering my photography as the way to have your beautiful journey documented. Whether I we work together for your entire journey or for bits and pieces of it. I am honored to be working with you.

As a mama myself of two little girls, you are in the perfect space and hands to have this journey preserved with photos. I will capture everything for you. Your beautiful glow, the roundest baby bump, their sleepy little face all the way to their scrunchy little toes. I don't miss a detail because I know how precious they are to us mamas. Through all the excitement, the nerves, the preparation and the rush when baby is finally here. Doesn't matter if this is your first baby or your last. Pregnancy is a beautiful experience and I hope everyone wanting to be a mama can have it.

My Motherhood sessions cover everything from maternity to birth to Fresh 24/48 and newborn photos. I understand that not all pregnancies are easy and some of us don't feel their most beautiful while pregnant. All of my sessions are photographed with bountiful amounts of love.

"Our photos are beautiful!

We wanted a play on our last name and Katie delivered. The photos came out beautifully for the family portion. Our son's solo photos were exactly as we hoped. Katie even made an egg to go with our dragon theme."

Book Your Session!

  • How many weeks should I be pregnant to book a maternity session?

Absolutely not! I've worked with many clients of all shapes, sizes, colors and orientations. Crescent Studios doesn't focus on a singular look when working with clients. Everyone should have the opportunity to experience a session that will boost confidence, improve self love, and help you bring your inner badass out!

  • Should I get hair and makeup done?

During every consult we go over what to expect. The main concern for most clients is how private are their photos and to be honest. It's totally up to you. Your options are no sharing at all, anonymous only photos or the full gallery. I respect all of my clients and would never want to compromise anyone's privacy.

  • Can I bring my other child(ren) and/or pets with me?

Oh that's not a problem at all. I provide coaching the entire session. We'll work with your body features, outfits and the sets within my studio to create amazing photos. I'm here for you to look and feel your best!

  • What if I'm not confident to be in front of a camera?

Galleries can take 2-3 weeks depending on how busy my current season is. Most galleries are 100% done upon delivery and we can go over your selections together via Zoom or on your own in the comfort of your home. However, if you happen to need extensive editing. A proof gallery will be provided and your selections will be edited after you finalize them within 2-3 weeks.

  • How old should my baby be for photos?

My studio is a sober space to keep everyone safe, everything clean, and everything fun. If there is a request for a champagne/beer/wine pour session. That would be the exception. However, my main priority is safety and I stand by keeping everyone on the same page while we're working together.

  • Do I have to go to the studio or can you come to my home?

    Friend. Yes, conditionally. Partner. No.

If you have a friend that will come to give you extra hype. I'm all for it. This can be intimidating and I want you to feel as relaxed as possible. If your friend comes with negative intentions, they will be asked to leave.

Partners are a no for the safety and sanity of both myself and you. I want this to be a positive experience for you. Some partners give peanut gallery feedback and that can dampen the vibe or they want to control how the session is going. This is to be enjoyable, not nervewracking.

  • Can siblings and/or pets be involved?

Everyone's first thought is lingerie, which is typical and I'm all for it. You can keep it totally simple with bra and undies, bra and jeans, undies with a partner's shirt, dress of any kind, along with any other creative options we come up with. I've worked with glitter, metal foil, drapery and so much more.

During our consult call we can go over these and more to keep us on the same page!

  • What if baby won't sleep?

Maternity, birth and newborn photography

in central massachusetts

If there is anyone you should trust to take photos of precious moments such as your motherhood journey. It's another mom. As a mama of two beautiful little girls, my phone is filled with thousands of photos between the two of them. I'm sure your phones are, too. But what about those specifically special moments in their lives? The day the you see the positive lines on the test. The first ultrasound. Making 20 weeks and having a cute halfway post. Finally getting into the nitty gritty of celebrations and onto your maternity session. Followed by birth coverage. Lastly, a fresh 24 or 48 hour session or full newborn session out of the hospital. It goes by in a flash and there are some moments you don't want to accidentally forget.

Maternity photos and birth photos are the most vulnerable you can be on camera. You've just gone through months of growing a baby and you may not be feeling the best in your body. GIIIIIIIIIRL, preach. As much as I was not "into" my body, I still got photos done and I will cherish them forever. I want to make sure you're feeling STUNNING during your maternity photoshoot because you deserve to be. You're growing life and that is a feat that cannot be beat by just anyone. Your birth photos I am a fly on the wall. I'm in the background as everyone else does their job. You won't be distracted by crazy flashes or the clicking away from my camera. No, no, no. I make sure you don't hear a peep from myself or my equipment. All you have to do is focus on getting that baby out and being in the moment with your partner and team.

Then your little one is here! Let me have that baby and give them the best photo session in their first few weeks of being Earth side. Even before having my own children. I have always loved babies and kids so knowing what to photograph came instinctually because I know how I would want my kids photographed. My attention to detail and love to be around kiddos helps me bring photos to life that you will cherish forever. To be honest with you, my hubs and I had a hard time getting pregnant with our first daughter. After switching doctors when we were about to look into IUI and IVF, we got pregnant. The year and a half it took us to get pregnant was so hard on me, but I was able to fill that void with photographing so many beautiful babies who came to the studio. It was a little bit of therapy each session to look at so many beautiful little ones and know one day I'd be taking photos of my own kids. Here we are in 2026 and I have two beautiful little girls that I just can't stop taking pictures of.

The biggest takeaway for you is that I hope you understand how much I will love our time together preserving this part of your life that you may have trouble doing on your own. From one mama to another, you're in the best hands for your entire journey through pregnancy, birth and becoming parents.
